Kid's Ministry

Sunday Morning

Bethel Greeley Church Kids 9:00am Classes: while adults are in  their small groups kids through high  school have their own small groups in  which they engage God’s word on topics  relevant to their own age and culture.  In  these classes they sing, learn important  truths from God’s word, create crafts, and  pray.

10:30am Service: We see some  value in children being in the larger  fellowship of believers so we encourage  parents to bring their children with them to  our main worship time.  However, we also  see value in having a place for kids to  grow and learn in a way that is separate  from larger congregation.  Because of this  we provide a 10:30 Children’s Church  where kids Pre-K – 3rd grade are welcome  to come and enjoy a lesson that is crafted  for them.

Throughout the week

Vision: We believe that the family is the primary means that God has appointed to help grow children up in the wisdom and power of the gospel.  One of the ways in which we aim to help families with this task is through family oriented small groups.  These groups meet on various days throughout the week.  If your interested in joining a group please contact Rob Crust at the Church (970)352-7373 or by This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. What you can expect at a family small group:
  • Food - usually dessert and coffee.
  • A object lesson with everyone present.  These lessons are geared towards children of all ages.  It’s important that parents help their kids to sit and listen.  These lessons have great points and are a useful tool for parents to use for later conversation with their kids.
  • A time of singing.  Once again this time is useful if parents are looking for singing material to use for during family devotions.
  • After the “together worship” children go to a different room and learn theological truth about God via the Catechism for Boys and Girls, a lesson from the big picture story book bible, a craft, and game time.
  • After the “together worship” adults have an expositional bible study where they try to mine the main point of a biblical text and apply it to their lives.

At Bethel, we desire for kids to know, love, and serve Christ.  Awana is our midweek kids program that strives to do just that!  Awana offers the opportunity for kids learn about God’s Word, memorize God’s Word, participate in games, sing songs, and interact with leaders who love the Lord.
Awana stands for Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed. This slogan is adapted from 2 Tim. 2:15, “Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a worker who does not need to be ashamed and who correctly handles the word of truth.”
Our Awana clubs are for children ages 2 through 5th grade.
Puggles: 2-3 years
Cubbies: Preschool
Sparks: Kindergarten-2nd Grade
T&T (Truth & Training): 3rd-5th Grade
Please check out for more information on Awana.
